Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join our growing team in the San Francisco office. As an HR Manager at INSCAPERS, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s expansion into the U.S. by managing talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a high-performance culture, develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives, and ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition efforts to build a high-caliber workforce, ensuring the company attracts top talent.
- Manage employee relations, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with leadership to design and implement effective onboarding, training, and development programs for employees.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee well-being.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive and compliant with industry standards.
- Manage performance management processes, providing coaching and support to both managers and employees.
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies to reduce turnover and increase employee engagement.
- Administer HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to maintain employee records and generate reports on HR metrics.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, HR best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company’s HR practices are cutting-edge and compliant.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create an equitable and diverse workforce.
- Assist in organizational development initiatives to ensure that the company’s structure supports growth and business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role, preferably within a digital marketing or fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements at federal, state, and local levels.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business success.
- Experience in talent acquisition—proven ability to identify, attract, and retain top talent across multiple disciplines, with a strong focus on recruiting for a growing, high-performance team.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive work culture.
- Experience in compensation and benefits management, with a focus on designing competitive packages that attract and retain top talent.
- Strong background in performance management, employee development, and leadership coaching.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels and provide expert advice to senior leadership.
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with systems like Workday, BambooHR, or ADP is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with a hands-on approach to solving HR challenges.
- Proven track record of driving employee engagement and retention through effective HR initiatives.
